Young people chose their career paths in the NBU programme. Over 6 months, each cohort is provided with the skills and opportunities needed to succeed in either employment or entrepreneurship. In each of these career tracks, they are given access to high-quality learning content. They are linked to coaches, peers, and alumni who help them build the confidence and connections needed to earn a sustainable income and fulfil their potential.
Core Life skills
Core Life Skills Training laid the crucial foundation for youth seeking the right job. It provided them with essential skills to understand themselves, define career goals aligned with their interests and ambitions, and develop professional skills. Upon completion, participants decided whether to pursue a path to either employment or entrepreneurship..
Employability
Our business networking events create a vibrant space where young entrepreneurs, innovators, mentors, and investors meet, share ideas, and spark collaborations. These events are specifically designed to promote youth-led and women-led businesses, fostering valuable connections that lead to funding, partnerships, mentorship, and growth.
Entrepreneurship
SOS Children’s Villages Netherlands/Ghana (SOS CV NL/GH) delivered green life skills training to CfW beneficiaries, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to identify and pursue economic opportunities aligned with their skills and interests in the green economy. The programme specifically targeted youth, women, and returning migrants.
