The Employability Track equipped trainees with CV writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation. Participants gained real-world experience through internships, with monthly stipends provided for transport. Business networking events connected trainees with industry leaders, creating partnerships and creating job opportunities.
Our Approach
The NBU Employability Training package offers a comprehensive and practical approach to preparing young people for the job market by going beyond basic job search skills to focus on personal development and career alignment. Participants are supported to identify their strengths, explore career possibilities, and build essential skills such as effective communication, emotional intelligence, time management, and understanding workers’ rights. The training reflects real employer expectations and industry demands. It consists of twelve weekly sessions (2–3 hours each), enriched with structured guides, presentation materials, and workbooks. The programme is further strengthened by personalised coaching, direct connections to businesses, and on-the-job learning opportunities such as internships and job shadowing, ensuring participants not only gain knowledge but also practical experience to successfully transition into the world of work.
