GrEEn Project

The Boosting Green Employment and Enterprise Opportunities in Ghana (GrEEn) Project was a four-year initiative implemented across ten (10) Municipal, and District Assemblies (MDAs) in the Ashanti and Western Regions of Ghana. Funded by the European Union Trust Fund (EUTF) and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ghana, the project was executed by a consortium of partners, including the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), SNV, and the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (MLGDRD).
The project primarily targeted youth, women, and returning migrants within the ten (10) MDAs. SOS Children’s Villages (SOS CV) Ghana was engaged by SOS Netherlands to support the project’s implementation under a contract with UNCDF.
